FIG PHOTO DATABASE - TERMS OF USE
The FIG holds the exclusive rights to the images appearing on this website. The use of FIG images is subject to the categories and conditions as outlined below. Display of the FIG copyright symbol is mandatory, i.e. each photo purchased from the FIG photo database and published by the buyer must be labelled as follows: © FIG-PHOTOS.COM. Any legal violations to or infringement upon the intellectual property rights will be prosecuted forthwith.

A. FIG Affiliated and Associated Federations

Rights of use:
  1. Editorial use only.
  2. The Federation’s official magazine. All documents, printed materials, posters or leaflets produced and distributed by the Federation.
  3. The Federation’s official website.
  4. All audiovisual materials produced and distributed by the Federation.
  5. Unlimited use with regard to number of copies used worldwide.
Use restrictions:
  1. Commercial use with lucrative ends.
  2. Selling, transferring or passing on to a third party, member gymnastics clubs excluded.
  3. Private use, personal website, blog, social network.
  4. Any infringement upon the FIG statutory regulations as outlined in articles 2.1 and 2.2 of the Statutes, 2004 edition in force.

B. FIG Event Organisers

Rights of use:
  1. Editorial and promotional use in the context of the respective FIG event only (World Championships, World Cup / Series, Challenger Cup, Gymnaestrada, Gym for Life Challenge).
  2. The event’s official website, blog and social network. All documents, printed materials, posters or leaflets produced and distributed by the event organiser.
  3. All audiovisual materials produced and distributed by the event organiser.
  4. Unlimited use with regard to number of copies used worldwide.
Use restrictions:
  1. Commercial use with lucrative ends.
  2. Selling, transferring or passing on to a third party.
  3. Private use. Personal website, blog.
  4. Any infringement upon the FIG statutory regulations as outlined in articles 2.1 and 2.2 of the Statutes, 2004 edition in force.

C. Partners / Official Suppliers

Rights of use:
  1. Commercial use only.
  2. Official magazines, official website. Printed materials, posters and leaflets produced and distributed by the editor.
  3. Unlimited use with regard to number of copies used worldwide.
  4. The FIG partners, official suppliers are responsible to obtain the written permission of the gymnast, or his / her legal representative prior any commercial use of a picture.
Use restrictions:
  1. Selling, transferring or passing on to a third party.
  2. Private use, personal website, blog, social network.
  3. Any infringement upon the FIG statutory regulations as outlined in articles 2.1 and 2.2 of the Statutes, 2004 edition in force.

D. All Media, including Specialised Gymnastics Magazines

Rights of use:
  1. Editorial use only.
  2. Unlimited use with regard to number of copies used worldwide.
Use restrictions:
  1. Commercial use with lucrative ends.
  2. Selling, transferring or passing on to a third party.
  3. Private use, personal website, blog, social network
  4. Any infringement upon the FIG statutory regulations as outlined in articles 2.1 and 2.2 of the Statutes, 2004 edition in force.

E. Public

Rights of use:
  1. Private use exclusively, including personal website, blog, social network.
  2. Unlimited use with regard to number of copies used worldwide.
Use restrictions:
  1. Commercial use with lucrative ends.
  2. Selling, transferring or passing on to a third party.
  3. Any infringement upon the FIG statutory regulations as outlined in articles 2.1 and 2.2 of the Statutes, 2004 edition in force.
